The University and its role in achieving gender equity from diversity.
Abstract
The teacher, as a responsable entity for the teaching-learning process in Higher Education, must fulfill his role considering as part of it the inclusion of gender from diversity for the formation of values in students that contribute to the generation of equality gender. In this article, some theoretical aspects regarding cultural identity and gender equality are valued, as well as the reference to a study carried out at the National University of Ecuador about the implementation of policies that contribute to gender equality.
