Proposal to simplify the operation of the social programs in Mexico. Study case: The Development Program of Priority Areas.
Abstract
The social programs that are destined to fight against poverty in Mexico, in certain cases imply, for the vulnerable population, to comply with complex procedures, having as consequence the subexercise of the budget that the government destines to it as part of its public policies. This essay describes the functioning of social programs, evaluating their accessibility and efficiency through a case study (the Program for the Development of Priority Zones), through the social network theory, arriving at the conclusion that this does not meet the purpose of any social policy, which is to generate cohesion in the population from the aid provided.
