Procedure for research process quality assessment in the Ecuadorian university.

Abstract

The evaluation of the quality of the university processes is an alternative to evaluate the performance of the institutions and establish the possible improvements for the achievement of the academic excellence. The research developed allowed to define a procedure to evaluate the quality of the research in the Ecuadorian university, specifically in the Autonomous Regional University of the Andes (UNIANDES). The necessary steps for the evaluation of the quality of the process are defined using the Kendall concordance coefficient, which allowed identifying the qualitative and quantitative indicators that characterize this process.
