Abstract

Studying the linguistic and literary signs in the poem "Hezareye dovome ahouye kouhi", shows his poems are associated with a wide range of secondary meanings and diverse significations of signifiers and cultural and historical codes. His poetry is deeply connected with Iranian history and culture, especially the history and culture of the ancient Khorasan and the mysticism of the Khorasan School; reading or translation of such a poem is very arduous without elaboration of the mentioned links for an addressee who is unfamiliar with historical, conceptual and cultural backgrounds.
