Influence of international legal acts on the legislation and practice of applying criminal penalties alternative to imprisonment in the Russian Federation

Abstract

The article highlights the development of the punishment system, which represents an alternative to imprisonment in Russia, taking into account the influence of international legal acts. The author focuses on the main areas of this influence, provides data on problematic issues in the field and the results of work done to eliminate the latter. The problems are analyzed taking into account the consideration of statistical data of the Russian Federation.
