Abstract

Quality management in higher education is a competitive strategy that ensures that universities deliver high standards of quality and satisfaction to society. Research is conducted to characterize quality management in a higher education institution for the continuous improvement of its standards of quality and excellence. A survey was applied to professors and students to determine the level of knowledge they have about the mechanisms used by the institution to manage the quality of its processes and the level of involvement. A model for process quality management was designed, taking as a starting point the Juran Trilogy on quality management.
