Action research and the development of competencies for the exercise of law.
Abstract
The action research operativizes the characteristics of the qualitative paradigm, gives relevance to a micro-social perspective, the researcher is an eyewitness of what he studies, and its purpose is not to explain but to understand; it analyzes in depth the meaning of the particularities of social life. Considering the importance of these particularities, we sought to describe the competencies acquired by the students of the action research subject, after the April-August 2019 academic period. The results showed that most of the informants acquired a memoristic learning that limits the development of the competencies required for the profile of the lawyer, which is explained by the weight of the positivist paradigm and by the complexity of internalizing new philosophical and theoretical perspectives.
