Abstract

Malnutrition present in Ecuador particularly affects the child population, considering it a Public Health problem, which requires state policies and multisectoral strategies to counteract this problem; However, at present, the perception of health changes when discovering the presence of the double nutritional load in children due to the high caloric content in their diet. This research was carried out with the objective of measuring the impact of the intervention on the nutritional status of children under 3 years of age who attend the Children's Centers of Good Living, through anthropometric indicators, knowledge surveys, Nutritional Food Education addressed to caregivers and food service personnel.
