Abstract

This research aims to identify metacognitive strategies when reading texts in English from third and sixth level students of the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Chimborazo, located in the city of Riobamba, Ecuador, during the academic semester of September 2019 - February 2020, through the application of the validated instrument Reading Strategies Questionnaire, adapted from the Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS).
