Teacher training in the use of ICT for the inclusion of students in vulnerable situations in primary schools in Sonora, Mexico.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to identify the initial and continuous training of teachers in the use of ICT for the inclusion of students in vulnerable situations of primary education in Sonora, Mexico. A mixed exploratory research was carried out on a sample of 84 primary school teachers. The results indicate the need to initially train teachers to carry out initial diagnoses for students, curricular adjustments, and adapted programs through inclusive strategies. In continuous training, it is essential to update the use of ICT and the preparation of didactic material, as well as an endowment of technological and multimedia resources in regular classrooms to offer quality educational services.
