Abstract

This study of bibliographic and documentary review addresses the main elements that the Organic Law on Higher Education 2018 incorporates into its articles with the objective of achieving quality assurance in Ecuadorian Higher Education, turning self-evaluation not into a means of accreditation, but rather into a working tool that enables all stakeholders to share their visions in terms of setting out the purposes to be achieved, recognizing their progress, achievements, strengths and weaknesses in a critical and reflective manner and together develop the management strategies that each institution requires.
