Insertion and job satisfaction of graduates of the Bachelor of Gerontology in the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico.
Abstract
To achieve active aging, the participation of gerontologists in the area of health, psychology and social is necessary. The enrollment of the Bachelor of Gerontology is increasing, so it is pertinent to know the area in which they are working and the satisfaction that their work causes them. The study design was mixed and with a phenomenological approach. It can be noted that of the 17 respondents, 58.82% (10) are dedicated to teaching, which together with self-employment is where there is more labor field. In general, with job satisfaction, graduates agree that the physical environment and the intrinsic satisfaction of their work is very satisfactory.
