Impact of university education on the formation of national identity.
Abstract
This article aims to publicize the impact that the study of foreign languages has had on university students on the concept of national identity. Taking education as a primary element in the conception of social ideas, through a quantitative methodology, the result obtained from a survey applied to 150 students from various states of Mexico is presented. These findings invite reflection and redesign of current educational programs related to the learning of Languages, Foreign Languages or related careers that include national history in their formation through cultural analysis and promotion, taking into account the national and professional identity of the Mexican. as elements that are fully complemented in their training.
