Methodology guiding the implementation of a mathematics domain knowledge management system.
Abstract
Although mathematics is important for educational development, international assessments report a failure rate greater than 50%. This global need has led to the development of solid studies to manage knowledge. However, it lacks a methodology that provides support to implement a system that manages that knowledge. In the present work we propose a methodology that guides the implementation of a student knowledge management system on the domain of mathematics at the university level. The methodology includes 5 phases with specific activities that have been obtained from the literature and the authors' experience. The methodology has been validated through a case study at a university in Mexico.
