Use of ICT in professors at a public university in southern Veracruz.
Abstract
Starting from the objective: To establish differences between the use of ICT and the sociodemographic and academic variables of university teachers in a public institution in the south of Veracruz, a quantitative and cross-sectional study was carried out. The sample consisted of 182 teachers and the scale attitudes, mastery and use of ICT in university teachers was applied in its use of ICT section, with exploratory factor analysis, and the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. The results showed that female teachers use ICTs more than male teachers to keep in touch with their students; In addition, the degree of study undergraduate and the type of hourly teaching contract are those that use ICT the most within their groups.
