It was a quantitative, descriptive study with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, where 65 biology students were analyzed. The reliability of the instrument was 0.976. The level of perception of the strategies was that 34.77% of the teachers apply a high level, 47.99% at a medium level and 17.23% at a low level. It was concluded that the perception of the students is higher in the learning assessment approach and in general the application of strategies was a medium level.
