Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic in educational institutions, online classes replaced face-to-face classes, which generated sudden changes in the way of teaching and learning. The objective of this work was aimed at identifying the areas of opportunities, as well as positive aspects of online classes, according to the experiences of Engineering students. A survey was applied through Google forms to 150 students from different engineering careers. The results indicate preferences for face-to-face classes, insufficient mastery of digital tools and applications, and the need to improve the online modality. Progress was noted in the development of digital skills and in adapting to the new model.
