Assessment of the application of the treatment methodology to data modeling in the Computer Engineering career.

Abstract

The article presents the results obtained in the application of the methodology to develop the treatment of the content related to data modeling in the teaching-learning process in the subject Databases of the Computer Engineering career. The study is based on a pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test, to verify the initial and final state of the development of the teaching-learning process of the subject. The data obtained show significant results in the appropriation, generalization, transfer and application of the content by the students related to the modeling of data to the solution of problems related to the object of the profession and allows to raise the quality of the training of the Graduated from Computer Engineering.
