Abstract

The National Crusade for the Quality of Health Services had the policy of raising the quality of services. The activities that resulted were the dissemination of codes of ethics for workers in institutions, and letters of rights for doctors, nurses, and patients, as part of an accreditation and certification strategy. Dignified treatment is the perception of the patient or relative of the treatment and care provided by nursing during their hospital stay. This policy of dignified treatment is considered as interpersonal, aimed at the mother, son, and relatives, where leaders (senior management) are committed to control and evaluation.
