Design, implementation, and evaluation of a MOOC for the development of socio-emotional skills in higher education.
Abstract
The article documents the process carried out for the design of a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on the development of socio-emotional skills, which is intended for university students. It describes both the rationale for the proposal and the stages of the process, as well as the rationale of the proposal. The results of the course evaluation are also outlined. Two instruments were used: the first one, designed ad hoc, measures satisfaction, while the second measures the development of emotional intelligence and social skills. For the latter, an instrument previously validated in Latin American population was used.
