Attitudinal and ideological barriers in university students with disabilities.
Abstract
The objective of the research is to identify the perception of attitudinal and ideological barriers in students with disabilities at the Autonomous University of Nayarit. It is a quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional study, and a questionnaire based on the classification of Covarrubias (2019) was applied. A total sample of 121 students with disabilities for the 2021-2022 school year was obtained, considering the student's perception of the cultural barriers of both teachers and peers. The most frequent disability was visual in 75.21% among other results that are presented in this work. It is concluded that it is necessary to promote culture and practice for the attention of students with disabilities.
