Environmental training needs of higher-level university teachers in the context of the 2030 SDGs.
Abstract
The objective was to diagnose the environmental training needs of university teachers to strengthen their skills to address environmental issues and sustainability in the context of the SDG 2030. A quantitative methodological design was developed, and surveys were applied to 149 teachers from the Autonomous University of Guerrero. In the results, he highlighted that the problems that concern them the most are pollution (30.87%), global warming (26.17%) and climate change (19.46%); In addition, 80% know the SDG 2030, 42.9% relate their subject to environmental issues, 33.5% mainstream environmental issues, and 49.6% evaluate with projects. These results will guide the design of a training process.
