The importance of parental participation in rural schools at the basic level.
Abstract
This article focuses on knowing the factors that influence the participation of parents in rural schools, highlighting the obstacles that parents go through to have an active participation in the school and the community, strengthening the educational part as a crucial concept, developing skills in them for school performance. The objective was to know the participation of parents, through their experiences in the education of their children with factors that affect said achievement in basic education. The methodology was qualitative with an open interview with the result that parents maintain obstacles to participate in school, being willing to sacrifice time so that their children receive a good education.
