Financial education: efficient methodologies in centennials.
Abstract
The study presents the results of the application of three different methodologies: active master class, learning guide and virtual course to three different groups of high school students belonging to educational institutions in the city of Loja. For data analysis, the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis H test and the Mann-Whitney U test were used. The results show an improvement in the level of financial education of the students; however, there are significant differences in performance in financial education between the three groups. The results support the effectiveness of the different methodologies and underline the need to promote sound financial education to ensure good economic management in the future.
