Abstract

In Ecuador, the digital divide in education poses significant challenges related to access to technology. A study at the Margarita Ponce Gangotena Educational Unit employed mixed research methods, including surveys and statistical analysis, and found that many students face difficulties in accessing adequate technological resources and a stable connection, which negatively affects their academic performance and participation in activities. online. It is concluded that a coordinated implementation of solutions can promote inclusion and technological preparation, providing equal opportunities in access to technology and an education adapted to current digital challenges.
