The importance of a Healthy Work Environment: contemporary perceptions and challenges.
Abstract
This research assessed employees' perceptions of their work environment in various organizations through a questionnaire that explored aspects such as training, peer support, guidance in the face of errors, and the importance attributed to the company. For the most part, employees experienced a positive work environment, with a strong emphasis on peer support and trust. However, a disturbing percentage reported negative or improvable work environments. In addition, employees were identified who did not attribute great importance to their companies and some who adopted neutral positions. The importance of promoting healthy work environments is highlighted and opportunities to improve communication and engagement in organizations are noted.
