Use of Data Mart in monitoring accreditation indicators related to social bonding.

Abstract

The Higher Education Quality Assurance Council (CACES) oversees the accreditation of Higher Technical and Technological Institutes (ISTT) in Ecuador, focusing on the social connection of students in projects led by teachers. To address this challenge, the creation of a Data Mart is proposed to consolidate the data and a Dashboard in Power BI to facilitate the monitoring of accreditation indicators. This system allows the analysis of institutional data and the making of strategic decisions based on the indicators. Business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Visual Studio Analytics and SQL Server were used, following the Kimball methodology for the creation of the Data Mart.
