Abstract

The objective of the research is to understand the work of teachers and principals both outside and inside the classroom, especially in terms of the aptitudes and attitudes of the teacher, aptitudes that refer to pedagogical skills or abilities and attitudes related to the temperament necessary to be placed in positions of educational leadership. Both are required to achieve the main purpose of the teaching task, which is educational quality. Through the documentary research, the concepts and characteristics of temperament are reviewed, such as the affective part of the personality, which is manifested in extroverted and introverted traits, and the leadership of teachers, as requirements to face the challenges of the contemporary educational system.
