Determinants in the labor inclusion of professionals with diverse disabilities.
Abstract
This research analyzed the factors that influence the hiring of professionals with disabilities, using a quantitative methodological approach and descriptive data. It was based on a documentary-bibliographic typology and inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods. Fifty-nine randomly selected participants were surveyed using Google Forms with a ten-question questionnaire in various formats. The results showed that people with disabilities face numerous historical adversities and barriers. Despite advances that recognize them as subjects of rights, challenges persist in the implementation of inclusive policies in the workplace. The research highlights the need to improve and effectively implement regulations and public policies to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market, ensuring that their rights are respected and promoted in practice.
