Research on the needs and challenges in the application of security protocols in educational environments.
Abstract
Safety in educational environments is essential for effective learning and the comprehensive development of students. This research identified the needs and concerns of teaching staff regarding the implementation of safety protocols at the Génesis Educational Unit in Ambato, using a mixed methodology with detailed surveys. The results showed moderate knowledge of the protocols, but a high interest in additional training, especially in conflict management and substance prevention. The research underscores the need to improve communication between teachers, administration, and authorities, and to adapt protocols to the characteristics of each institution. These findings can guide the development of training programs and school safety policies.
