Digital teachers: critical evaluation of information in social networks.
Abstract
The use of social networks by teachers responds to the need to adapt to technological changes and new ways of teaching in the 21st century. These platforms have become key tools to improve communication with students, facilitate access to updated resources and promote interactive learning. However, the rapid growth in their use has also posed challenges, such as the need to develop critical thinking to evaluate the veracity of information. The study reveals that many educators lack formal strategies to verify the credibility of information, which affects educational quality. The importance of strengthening the digital literacy of teachers and students to promote more ethical and effective learning is highlighted.
