Abstract
This article reflects on the Physical Education (PE) session as a fundamental space within the school curriculum to foster students' holistic development through motor behavior. It analyzes the importance of rethinking its approach within the framework of the New Mexican School (NEM), proposing an inclusive, diverse, broad, and innovative PE. It highlights the need to transition from traditional methodologies to approaches that integrate cognitive, emotional, social, and physical dimensions, incorporating active pedagogical models and the use of alternative materials. The proposal seeks to ensure the participation of all students, respect their unique characteristics, and promote an active lifestyle, aligning with the NEM principles of equity, inclusion, and educational excellence.
