Historical trend analysis of the process of sexuality education in primary school teachers in training at a pedagogical school in Cuba.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe the historical evolution of the process of sexuality education in primary school teachers in training at the pedagogical school in Cuba. The research presented is part of the doctoral research in Educational Sciences of the second author. It was carried out taking into account the interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative approach. Based on selected indicators, their evolution is presented in four stages; the stages were delimited by historical-pedagogical milestones and identified as a result of the analysis of the background on sexuality education in the Cuban context, in primary school teachers in training. The historical trends of the sexuality education process are provided.
