Gastronomic optimization strategy in the children's centers of Píllaro, Tungurahua.
Abstract
This study proposes culinary awareness strategies at Píllaro Child Development Centers to promote healthy eating habits among children and their caregivers. The study was based on a theoretical analysis of the nutritional needs of children in their early stages of development. Qualitative and quantitative approaches were used to understand the perspectives of the center coordinators through interviews and surveys. In addition, training and awareness workshops were organized for caregivers, cooks, and caregivers, addressing topics such as nutrition, proper nutrition in childhood, and innovative recipes to improve children's diets.
