Abstract

The growing concern about environmental damage and the effects of climate change is driving the search for protection strategies, and in this context, the UNIANDINA community seeks to raise awareness in the society of Riobamba, turning them into active actors in mitigating the violation of rights; in such a way, that from the classrooms, students must be educated about the importance of promoting good environmental practices in favor of conservation, both in the family and social spheres, contributing to the global solution. The research revealed that although law students have general and legal knowledge about the environment, they do not actively participate in projects that reinforce these regulations, highlighting the need to strengthen an environmental legal culture.
