Abstract
This article addresses the topic of strengthening reading skills among first-semester students at CBTA 223, located in Cocula, Gro., a high school institution. This research protocol was developed. Considering the problems faced by students at this school, the aim is to enhance academic performance, as it is essential for their professional development. The research aims to strengthen reading skills and help students understand what is written, thereby enhancing their analytical and reflective skills, improving their academic performance and enabling professional and employment training in line with current social demands.
