Ergonomics perception of university computer students: case study of the Nuevo Laredo School of Commerce.

Abstract

Ergonomics in computing environments is a topic of importance for the health and wellbeing of the human body. This study was conducted to obtain the perception of the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at the School of Commerce, Administration and Social Sciences of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. A quantitative and transversal design was used with the participation of 101 students from all grades. In the analysis of the results obtained, the following findings were found: the perception of students in higher grades is different from that of students in lower grades, the lack of improvement of furniture and infrastructure, as well as giving greater importance to education in computational ergonomics.
