Abstract

Age-friendly cities are inclusive and accessible spaces designed to guarantee a high quality of life as people age. The objective of this study was to identify research that measures the impact of age-friendly city domains on the quality of life of older adults. A search was conducted in Web of Science and Scopus using the English keywords "age-friendly cities and quality of life," yielding 105 articles. The PRISMA protocol was used for the selection and analysis of the articles. The analysis confirmed that very few articles address the purpose of age-friendly cities and their impact on the quality of life of older adults.
