Restorative practices in upper secondary education.
Abstract
This article aims to analyze the issues of violence and conflict in upper secondary education in order to implement restorative practices that strengthen school coexistence and prevent violence through a culture of peace based on dialogue and responsibility. The analysis reveals that restorative practices foster effective communication, a sense of belonging, collective responsibility, and a reduction in violent behaviors, thereby contributing to students' socio-emotional well-being. It concludes that incorporating restorative approaches into upper secondary education offers a relevant pathway for transforming school management, strengthening school coexistence, and consolidating educational environments that are more inclusive and participatory, while fostering a culture of peace within the school.
