Abstract

This paper highlights the importance of pedagogical support—provided by the school principal to classroom teachers—as a fundamental means of contributing to the improvement of classroom practice. This support is facilitated through horizontal and reflective dialogue, thereby fostering a process of continuous professional development for teachers. Given that the daily reality of primary school classrooms currently necessitates collaborative teamwork among educational professionals, the support provided by the principal to teachers is essential for the collective achievement of educational objectives; this entails a thorough understanding of the concept, modalities, and impact of pedagogical support on the attainment of educational outcomes.
