Race walking as a didactic alternative for global coordination.

Abstract

This study evaluated the pertinence of an improvement proposal focused on race walking as a didactic strategy to strengthen global coordination in middle school students. The evaluation form to quantify content validity was carried out using Aiken’s V coefficient, and internal consistency was confirmed through Cronbach’s Alpha (α = 0.851). Additionally, the consensus of ten expert teachers was established through the Delphi method, ensuring that the designed strategies and activities are relevant, clear, and functional. This provides a pedagogical resource for planning Physical Education classes that promote motor development, postural control, and movement coordination.
