Abstract

The study examines the relationship between autonomy, support, recognition, and psychosocial demands among employees at an automotive company located in Querétaro, Mexico, with the aim of understanding their influence on workplace well-being. Three hypotheses were proposed: autonomy influences support, support influences recognition, and recognition influences psychosocial demands. A 41-item questionnaire based on the validated COPSOQ Psychosocial Risk Factors Questionnaire was administered to 311 employees of a seat and accessory manufacturer, selected by gender and hierarchical level. Validity was verified using exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach’s alpha. The results showed significant relationships using structural equation modeling, concluding that strengthening autonomy and organizational support promotes recognition and reduces psychosocial demands.
