Oral education through the evaluation of pediatric dentistry visits in children from birth to 8 years of age.
Abstract
The objective of this research is to offer elements about the number of visits that must be made and thus explain the importance of oral and dental health care in children, as a way for family education. A study was carried out to identify the elements for which parents do not take their children to a pediatric dentistry specialist, and thus guarantee the oral health of their children. To guarantee this process, they must carry out a control visit twice a year for six months. This prophylaxis process will remove food debris, as well as regular visits will help prevent infection.
